Pembroke Development (Glass Bottle site)

The former Irish Glass Bottle site on Dublin’s Poolbeg peninsula is being transformed into a new city quarter for up to 3,800 homes, led by a consortium including Ronan Group Real Estate, Oaktree Capital and Pembroke Beach DAC as part of the Poolbeg West Strategic Development Zone.

The 37-acre brownfield site, vacant since the glass factory closed in 2002, is being reshaped around a central boulevard and a new coastal park connecting to Dublin Bay, with district heating drawn from the neighbouring Poolbeg incinerator. The masterplan was prepared by O’Mahony Pike Architects, with reddy architecture designing individual residential blocks.
