MicrAtec movement control joints are Vexcolt’s slim-profile range for hard floor finishes. Unlike a traditional sealant joint, MicrAtec uses a metal support frame and seal instead, which gives a cleaner, more durable line across the floor. As a result, it suits everything from domestic living rooms to heavy-traffic environments like airports. The range comes in three installation types. For finishes laid on a thin bed adhesive, Type A is the right fit. Meanwhile, Type B is compression-fitted into a slot or saw-cut formed between finishes, and Type C is installed as finishes are laid onto wet mortar or a sand/cement bed.
