MaxAtec frame and seal expansion joints are Vexcolt’s aluminium range for floors, walls, and ceilings. Unlike a metal plate system, this range uses a frame and seal design instead. As a result, it’s a strong option for areas that also need some flexibility. The range comes in two configurations. For floors, a continuous aluminium frame combines with a central support plate and a coloured TPE seal, which together handle wearing surfaces and foot traffic. Meanwhile, wall and ceiling systems use a simpler aluminium wall frame with the same TPE seal, giving a clean finish across vertical and overhead joints. In addition, gap widths run from 25 to 150 mm, and fire-rated options are available. If your project needs something outside this range, our bespoke service can help.
If your expansion joint sits within a trafficked floor slab, choose a floor product.
